Dancer Ana Paula Evangelista, won almost all posts and titles within the Brazilian samba dance and Carnival culture and festivities. As a samba professional, she was elected in the highly competitive samba contest called “Rio de Janeiro Official Queen of Carnival “ ; was elected Queen for the prestigious “Mocidade Independente Samba School” in 2015 ( Elite Samba School in Rio ) , paraded as a Diva for two traditional samba schools in 2016: Diva for Unidos da TIjuca ( Elite Samba League ) and Diva for Unidos da Padre Miguel ( A Group Samba Schools ).
In 2012, the professional Samba Dancer danced as a Diva for Viradouro Samba School winning the prize as “Best Queen Dancer” for the Access Group Samba Schools. She is also one of the few Brazilians to win the title of “Most Representative Brazilian Carnival Queen to Europe”. She lives in Italy for most part of the year, and during the Brazilian Festival, she arrives for the preparation period. Congrats!
