Blond Samba dancer, Yes! In Brazil we have blonde samba dancers. Brazil is huge country and we have samba dancers from all ethnic backgrounds, ages and regions. Here we see Camila Macedo, a personal trainer with more than 25 years of ballet and dance on her veins.
Camila told us during an exclusive interview she started dancing when she was very young at the age of 6 years old. She also proudly told us she has been dancing samba specifically for almost 20 years. In shows and performances, many were “shocked” when she appeared on stage, being blond, and presenting perfect samba routines. She started at Niteroi region, which is just across Rio de Janeiro.
Camila Macedo is Physical Education teacher and participated for the first time on the Rio de Janeiro Queen of Carnival Contest 2014. On 2016 Carnival, she was a full Diva for the traditional “Viradouro Samba School” and was watched by more than 100 million people on the TV broadcasting. Congratulations for a great performance Camila!
